One of the most exciting times to be in New York is during New York Fashion Week. New York Fashion Week is a twice-per-year event where some of the world’s most prestigious fashion designers show their collections at events throughout the city.
During New York Fashion Week, the city feels energized with creativity as designers, stylists, hair and make up artists, photographers, bloggers, and industry insiders converge on the city to work and attend a week’s worth of shows.
For the last couple of years, I have been able to participate in New York Fashion Week by shooting photos backstage, and during many of the shows. This year, Fashion Week was cut a bit short for me, as I was attending a photography conference in Las Vegas, but I did manage to get back to New York to shoot a handful of shows at Lincoln Center.
